Logo design
Loft five
A self-initiated logo inspired by Loft Five, a bar in a loft space in Zurich. The contour of a cocktail glass forms the L and the 5 of the name, and a single red triangle fills the glass. The system stays simple with three variants. The glass alone works as a sign for the interior, the glass with the wordmark carries the full name, and an animated version brings the mark onto screens.

PROCESS
01 Animation basics
A frame-by-frame exercise before animating the logo.
02 Sketches
The name split into L and 5 and tested as bar stools, cubes, the Chinese Wuxing and finally a cocktail glass.
03 Digital drafts
Ideas tested digitally on the way to the final mark.
