Poster design

Mongolia
The first Swiss exhibition on Mongolia, “Mongolei” at the Museum Rietberg, traces the history of the country’s great cities from the Mongol Empire to today’s Ulaanbaatar. This poster proposal transforms the museum’s images into a collage that encapsulates the exhibition’s entire historical period. Rietberg’s poster style is retained, while the title bleeds off the edges and gives the poster a voice of its own.

PROCESS

01 Variants
Three directions, from a battle scene to a sculpture to the portrait collage. The portrait won, and the final version tones the loud outlined letters down to fit Rietberg’s poster style.
*All projects were made during my studies and are fictional commissions.
